hackathons are rigged

Here's all my hackathon lessons so far

I don't think i even remember this well, but it was my first actual hackathon win, random teammates but it worked out well, the theme was safety and we built a react native app where students could report incidents such as school shooters etc, on the app itself and it would alert people and stuff, the idea was pretty simple and straightforward since this was pre-chatgpt boom, but this was actually where i coded the whole shit with no AI, i loved the technical side of it and working on it, it was definitely memorable, the key lesson here i had was it doesn't matter how much organization you have or how much planning you do, the core idea is what really matters in the hackathon and it's execution

this was my second hackathon win, again online, not really much to talk about here it was an average hack tbh. we build a omegle type shit but for consulting / health community.

This was my actual first in person hackathon that we won, we built a police software application kind of thing where people would report and the on other side the admins could see it and deploy cop units and those unit also have one side of the app, it was a cool idea, key thing i learnt here was that pick your team wisely and actually spend time on that, for most part i was the only one building shit
